1970

Kenneth Reid retired from his primary field in 2008. He has owned and operated Cruise Innovations Plus, a travel agency, since 1996 and now travels the world as often as possible.

1971

Tom Ferrara ’71 and James Tabbi of The Heroic Enthusiasts

Music continues to play a major role for Tom Ferrara, who co-founded The Heroic Enthusiasts with James Tabbi in 2015. The band's lead single Still Life debuted this past summer and their second EP, Crimes and Passions, was released in December. The EP is co-produced with Stephen Hague (Pet Shop Boys, Peter Gabriel, Erasure, New Order). Says Hague, “the Heroic’s songs were a breath of fresh air. 1972

Emmett Cooke has been retired for six years and enjoys traveling with his wife, spending time with grandkids, and volunteering in various service activities.
 

Richard Davis is retired and lives at the beach in South Jersey in summer and in Palm Beach, Aruba, in winter. He and his wife are enjoying their three adult children and their spouses and four grandchildren. 

Edward Flournoy established EDISACOM R. E. LLC in June 2021 and is owner/president/CEO. The company assists prospective clients needing investment funding for their acquisition and construction projects as well as cost segregation services.

1973

After retiring as vice president of investments at the American Society of Composers, Authors and Publishers (ASCAP), Joseph Cocopardo has been enjoying serving as a docent at Planting Fields, an estate in Oyster Bay, NY; volunteer tax preparer for the IRS; certified therapy dog volunteer; Eucharistic minister; and volunteering at the PGA and USGA Championships and US Open Kids’ Day at Flushing Meadows. He has also worked as a Belmont Stakes mutuel clerk.

Mark Mahoney is retired after 15 years as CEO of Energy Brokers Inc. and enjoys hanging out with his three grandsons: Brian, 6, and twins Michael and Matthew, 4. They swim and hike and generally enjoy the good life.

1974

Debra (Foster) Collier retired from teaching twice and is now a private reading and math tutor. She and her husband, Bill, spend their time between their houses in New York and Charlotte, NC. They have two grandchildren, Liam, 3, and Saoirse, 6 months.

1975

JB Fred Eberlein has released his first book, The 90-Degree Turn: Remaking Federal Government. He describes the book as “an apolitical theory that aims to realign the nation’s citizens with federal government assets.”

1977

John Gavigan retired in June 2020 and has been playing a lot of tennis and golf and enjoying his grandson.

1979

Michael Dombroski retired after a 25-year engineering career and 12 years as a massage therapist. Michael and Kathy ’79 now work a large garden with chickens and geese within the city limits of Greensboro, NC.

Fr. Paul Keenan, OFM, has been on the pastoral staff at St Anthony Shrine in Boston, MA, since September 2020. He does a lot of ministry with veterans and their families affected by alcoholism and substance abuse.
