1982

Mark Fingar became a grandfather to his daughter Brianna's daughter, Bella Fingar-Joyce. Yes, she's adorable and loves her Papa.

Sandi (Quick) Starrette was inducted into Who's Who for the second time, as well as Who's Who in Professional Women.

1983

An image of Terri (Theresa) Tobin ’83, Alison Demarest Corcoran ’84, Adrienne Ryan Pinto ’84, and Karyn Magdalen O’Donnell ’84, along with Kelly Corcoran Hilden and  Nancy Cotty, on June 28, 2022, as they began their six-day journey on the Camino Portuguese from Tui, Spain, to Santiago, Spain— “an incredible journey and experience, walking 80.8 miles.”
On June 28, 2022, Terri (Theresa) Tobin ’83, Alison (Demarest) Corcoran ’84, Adrienne (Ryan) Pinto ’84, and Karyn (Magdalen) O’Donnell ’84, along with Kelly Corcoran Hilden and Nancy Cotty, began their six-day journey on the Camino Portuguese from Tui, Spain, to Santiago, Spain— “an incredible journey and experience, walking 80.8 miles.”

1984

Rick O’Donnell retired from United Technologies Corp. after 33 years as executive director, aftermarket supply chain. Rick is now an aerospace consultant and working on his golf game after a 25-year hiatus. 

Karyn (Magdalen) O’Donnell spends her time supporting Honor Guard, an organization that supports elder veterans by sponsoring Honor Flights to Washington, DC, and volunteering with the organization Friends of SoZu Kids, supporting families in need in the Ocala Forest. Rick and Karyn have two grandchildren, Virginia and Grace, both daughters of Allyson O’Donnell Marsden ’11. After nine years in Charlotte, NC, Rick and Karyn moved to The Villages in Florida. They spend summers at their other home in York Beach, ME.

1986

Andrew Crecca was appointed district administrative judge of Suffolk County in New York State's 10th Judicial District in July of 2020.

In September, the Stevenson Library at Bard College hosted an exhibit of 22 books from the collection of Alvin Patrick. Since 1997 Al has collected approximately 5,000 rare or first edition books written by African Americans. The exhibition, “Faces of the Struggle, Frontispiece Portraits in African American Literature (1834–1949),” included portraits of some of the most notable civil rights activists of the 19th and 20th centuries. Marist’s Cannavino Library hosted an exhibit of volumes from Al’s book collection in 2019. Al is an award-winning journalist and executive producer of CBS News Streaming Originals and Race & Culture. He is also a member of the Board of Trustees at Marist.

1987

Robert Saunders retired after 31 years of service with the federal government as a regional chief inspector with the United States Marshals Service. He has since taken a job with LexisNexis Special Services as a data analyst.

1989

Michael Kennedy ’89

Michael Kennedy completed his third children’s book, Piper’s Pals, from which all proceeds are donated to help raise awareness for research on CADASIL, a rare genetic stroke disorder (he was diagnosed in 2015). All books are available at Kenbrightkreations.com.
