1966

Richard McKay notes that because he turned 78 this pastyear, he has co-written a song for all those over 70: “We Already Beat the House.” Hear it here: www.youtube.com/watch?v=rCAa_Q5Ok3M During his college days Richard was in the band Frobischer Bay Volunteers, which played at the Brown Derby bar every Sunday and in college contests (“we never lost, even against big colleges like Colgate”) and were the first to perform in the new Marist theatre.

1967

Ronald Anderson is proud to share that his granddaughter Maeve Kirwan is a Marist sophomore after Marist year in Ireland!


Robert Matthews has 11 grandchildren; in 2022, the youngest was a teenager and the oldest was 21. 

1968

Stanley E. Harris, MD ’68/’06MA has written the book The People Value Proposition: See One, Do One, Teach One …LEAD – A Physician’s Journey to Leadership. The book, published by the American Association for Physician Leadership, acknowledges that leadership begins with the individual but emphasizes that by recognizing and nurturing the value of others, everyone succeeds. The author discusses the importance of empathy, engagement, and motivation to sustain connectivity, inspire innovation, and enable new leaders to emerge. Stan is a physician executive with more than 30 years of experience in medical management operations and leadership development. He most recently served as senior medical director at Horizon Blue Cross Blue Shield of New Jersey, and as the chairman of the Blue Cross Blue Shield Association National Medical Policy Panel as well as on the Medical Advisory Committee of the Association. He is a member of Marist’s Board of Trustees.

Robert Hatfield was elected chairman of the Montefiore St. Luke’s Cornwall Health System Foundation.

Raymond Jurina was the local town justice for the Town of Union Vale, Dutchess County, from 1988 to 2021. He is now retired.

Bill Nevins and his wife, Mary, work for Baldwin County, GA, as poll workers and poll monitors.
