Paisley Haddad is an account coordinator at Uproar PR. Paisley is also host of The Queen of Comm podcast, a show dedicated to sharing stories of remarkable women in communications, as well as their tips and advice for the next generation of communications professionals. On the show, she has featured a number of Marist students, all sharing their experiences breaking into the industry and making an impact while still in the classroom. The podcast caught the attention of PRWeek, where Paisley was invited to take part in its PR Decoded Conference this past October as a speaker. Fellow speakers included executives from communications departments of companies such as Frito-Lay, Patagonia, Ben & Jerry’s, BCW Global, Devries Global, and more. The appearance also led to a feature story on PR Week’s website, chronicling the panel’s main points as well as Paisley’s work on the podcast and as firm director of Marist’s student-run North Road Communications while she was a student. Paisley hopes to chat with more Red Foxes on her show.

During the COVID quarantine, Levitt Yaffe completed a book, Two: The Tale of Light and Darkness. Levitt describes the story this way: “Imagine having the ability to save the universe from evil, but at the expense of losing your memory, your family, everything… an ‘action-packed adventure’ in which ‘skills are honed. Courage is tested. Battles are fought.’ For more information and an excerpt, visit www.bluinnovative.com/buy-the-book/. Levitt is now editing the sequel. He is also working on a webcomic. Levitt returned to Marist in October for a book signing. While editing his sequel and working in real estate seven days a week, Levitt has found the time also to publish a web novel titled Crystal GO with chapters coming out weekly at https://www.voyce.me/series/crystal-go
