Jacqueline Mulcahy started her own business: 3 O'Clock Apple Nutrition.

Christopher Bythewood and his wife welcomed their first child, Ava Ani, on Jan. 18, 2020.

Rachael (Vollaro) Risinger welcomed daughter Ellie Grace on Nov. 29, 2019. She is serving her second year as president of the Public Relations Professionals of Long Island.

Amanda Killeen joined Cohen Kinne Valicenti & Cook LLP in 2017 with primary practice in commercial real estate and corporate law.

2001

Jennifer (Rossignol ’01M) and Steven Coogan ’99 had a baby! Cassidy Grace Coogan was born on Feb. 5, 2021.

Valerie Sheafe-DuBerry (M) is a prayer warrior for First Miami Presbyterian Church and member of the volunteer digital liturgy team.

Sean Stellato ’02 played in the 21st Celebrity Sweat Charity flag football game on Clearwater Beach, FL, during Super Bowl Week. The icing on the cake was catching two touchdown passes from his boyhood idol, former NFL quarterback Doug Flutie. Pictured left to right at the event is Obi Melifonwu of the San Francisco 49ers, Flutie, Sean, and Ifeatu Melifonwu. Sean, president of sports representation and marketing agency SES, represents Ifeatu in the 2021 NFL draft.

2002

Benjamin Brenkert married his partner, Willian Hernandez, on March 6, 2021, at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Jackson Heights, NY. Ben is a New York-based writer. He is completing his doctorate at Teachers College, Columbia University. His memoir, A Catechism of the Heart, was published in July 2020 and details his experiences as a gay man of faith. Ben joined the Jesuits at the age of 24 and his memoir speaks candidly about his desire to serve as an openly gay priest and his work to change the dogma of the Catholic church around the LGBTQ+ community. Tom Buikus was promoted to chief probation officer for the Connecticut Judicial Branch.

Edward Nini was promoted to managing director, head of product strategy at Principal Global Investors.

2003

Patricia Moore Nicholas (MPA) is the co-chair of the International Grantmakers Network of Philanthropy New York, a regional association of grantmakers.

Mary (Doyle) Morrison accepted a position as curriculum coordinator and instructional coach in January 2020, working as an administrator at the ARC of Westchester's preschool for students with special needs.

2004

Nicole (Baker) Videla defended her qualitative dissertation, earning a doctorate of education from Northeastern University in November 2020. Her research focused on the collegiate career development experiences of low-income students from an alumni perspective. She also started a new position as the director of academic success and the Educational Opportunity Fund Program at Ramapo College of New Jersey.

Jennifer Dugan has relaunched the Makeup Curio. With the slogan "Creating Characters for Stage," Jenn is now a traveling artist taking her theatrical makeup education and design services on the road as a full-time RVer and mobile studio.

Taryn (Debold) Lagonigro welcomed her fourth daughter, who was born in 2020 with Down syndrome. She has become an advocate in the Down syndrome community and is on the board of two nonprofits supporting individuals with DS.

Rebecca Rosado welcomed her first son, Logan Scott, on Nov. 20, 2019.

Lauren Selke is celebrating 19+ years of her career with Christmas Tree Shops!

Catherine Solazzo joined Tech Data, a leading global IT distributor and solutions aggregator, as senior vice president of marketing.

Ross Stoltz was promoted to web design and merchandising manager at Northern Safety and Industrial.

Travis Tellitocci (’14MA), the Ohio Valley Conference’s assistant commissioner for football, basketball, and officiating, has been appointed to a four-year term serving on the NCAA Division I Women’s Basketball Competition Committee. Travis joined the OVC staff in September 2016 and serves as the primary staff liaison to the head football, men’s and women’s basketball, and baseball coaches. He also serves as the tournament manager for the OVC Men’s and Women’s Basketball Championships and OVC Baseball Championship. Travis joined the OVC staff after serving as deputy athletics director at Marist. He worked with all 23 Division I sports at Marist and was responsible for oversight of the Athletics Department’s business operations, marketing, media relations, broadcasting, licensing, ticketing, club sports, intramurals, and recreational activities. He also played an integral role in the design and management of numerous capital projects, including a multisport stadium, basketball office, locker room addition, and arena renovation. Previously Travis worked as associate producer for scoreboard and entertainment for the New York Mets.

Vanessa (Tregenza) Pasculli married her love, Joe, on June 7, 2020. They plan to have the big party when they can, but are grateful to be married to each other now.

2005

Mark Bendel started the 19th year of his Fire Department career. He was promoted to the rank of lieutenant in the Greenville Fire District in Westchester County, NY.

Jennifer (Spano) Carey co-wrote the article "Addressing Chronic Absenteeism in Middle School: A Cost-Effective Approach,” published in Children & Schools in April 2020. She and her husband, Ryan, had a baby, Claudia Wynne, in March 2021. Claudia has Marist grads on both sides of her family; Bill Carey ’72 is her great-uncle.

Anthony Francavilla is cofounder of Form Theatricals where he has produced and/or general-managed seven off-Broadway New York Times Critics’ Picks in the past eight years. Prior to Form, Anthony won a GLAAD Award for Best Production for his productions of When Last We Flew and produced Oliver Parker starring John Larroquette and Michael Zegen at the Cherry Lane Theatre among many other productions. He is a graduate of Columbia University’s Theater Producing & Management MFA program where he was both a Shubert and Dean’s Fellow. Anthony lives in Brooklyn with his wife, Rachael, and their multi-poo, Columbo.

Brian Raffaldi was promoted to sergeant in February of 2020. He and his wife, Damla, welcomed their daughter, Kaya, on July 3, 2021.

2006

A Marist connection popped up earlier this year at a U.S. Air Force Base in Washington. Maj. Mike Mauro (right), Class of ’06, was assigned as the operations officer, 92d AMXS, Fairchild Air Force Base, Spokane, WA. Lt. Col. Sean Howlett (left), now deputy group commander of the 92d AMX and a Stratotanker (KC-135) pilot, is the son of Dr. Chuck Howlett, Class of ’68 and co-captain of Doc Goldman's first winning soccer team at Marist. The 92d AMXS is one of the largest United States Air Force squadrons responsible for the maintenance and flying operations of 63 KC-135R/T aircraft supporting five flying squadrons that produce worldwide refueling capabilities for U.S. and Allied forces. Howlett and Mauro oversee approximately 700 personnel ensuring they are trained and ready to support Air Expeditionary Force, USSTRATCOM, and contingency deployment taskings.

2007

Frederick Azzurro received the Accredited Investment Fiduciary® (AIF®) Designation in 2021. Attainment of the AIF® Designation signifies specialized knowledge of fiduciary responsibility and the ability to implement policies and procedures that meet a defined standard of care. He and his wife, Breanna, welcomed their third child and second son, Bennett Chase Azzurro.

Christina Brodzky married Adam LeVasseur on Sept. 23, 2021.

Jessica Friedlander completed a year-long "Emerging Leaders" professional development course for nonprofit professionals in late 2020. She is now a founding member of the Emerging Leaders Advisory Council for 2021.

Laura (Hickey) Trivitt and her husband, Keith, welcomed their third child, a daughter, Eloise, in May 2021. She was born in London where they currently live with their two children, Sydney, 7, and Charles, 5.
 

2008

Stephanie (Diaz) Campanella moved to Roselle Park, NJ, in 2014 where she lives with her husband, Salvatore (married in May 2015), and two daughters, Sophia, 7, and Savannah, 5. She was recently promoted to US lead customer success at Forter, an e-commerce fraud prevention company based in Manhattan.

2009

Scott Connolly accepted a position in June 2021 as counsel for A+E Networks in the content group of their Legal and Business Affairs department.

Alison Jalbert received her master's degree in library and information science from Simmons University in January 2021.

Kadeine (Campbell) Peterson started a new job at the Cate School after a cross-country move from New Hampshire.
