1990

Donna Jeannette Bailey is rejoining Wells Fargo after exploring startup fintech for three years.

Mary (Berean) Ivich retired in March 2023 after working for 32 years.

 

1991

Scott McVeigh married Shaileen Tummins on Pi day (3.14) March 14, 2023.

Peter Whalen MPA was promoted to the rank of Brigadier General in the U.S. Army Reserve.

 

1992

Christine McCann retired in June 2022 after a very enjoyable and rewarding 28-year career as a special education teacher in the West Islip School District. In September 2023, her daughter, Lauren C. McCann joined the Red Fox family as a first-year student in the Marist Class of 2027. Lauren is majoring in media studies and production with a concentration in film and television.

Joey Stanford finished his Legum Magister (LLM), post Ph.D.

Jennifer (Flynn) Walker was the first U.S. based and focused human rights activist selected for Columbia University’s Human Rights Advocates Training Fellowship, and was a recipient of the Union Square Award, Robert Wood Johnson Community Health Leadership Award, the Jane Benedict Award from Met Council on Housing, and New York City Council Hero Award. She received a NYC Council proclamation in 2016 for her leadership on LGBT issues. She was named one of the most promising AIDS activists by Poz Magazine and was highlighted as one of the leading 25 LGBT AIDS Activists in 25 years by HIV Plus Magazine. Selected as a Power Player in the 2022 elections by Politics NY, Jennifer serves on the board of directors for Met Council on Housing (MCREF), Health GAP and the North Star Fund.

 

1993

Dawne Berlinski was appointed a board member of Commerce City Youth Athletics, a non-profit youth organization.

Valerie (Gajdzis) Reyher ’94MA was promoted to COO of The Kennedy Collective in October 2023.

Jacob Knorr is proud to announce that in 2022, his son Michael Knorr was selected by the Houston Astros in the third round of the MLB draft as the 103rd overall pick. Meanwhile, his daughter Katherine “Kitty” Knorr is a published author, known for her book “Tarot Affirmations: Self Fulfilling Prophecies,” available for purchase on Amazon. His son Peter Knorr is currently in his second year of college and will become eligible for the MLB draft in 2024.

 

1994

Dr. Christina Royal ’03M retired from her role as president of Holyoke Community College in July 2023, married her partner, Karen in November 2023, and they have been doing some international travel. Dr. Royal is now the president/CEO of Infinite Unlearning, LLC, a woman, BIPOC, and queer-owned executive coaching and consultancy service supporting mid to senior leaders and their organizations. Her goal is to educate leaders on a new paradigm of the future of work and help them
shed their limiting beliefs and lead from a place of potential. In September 2023, Massachusetts Governor Healey appointed Dr. Royal to the state’s Board of Higher Education. She is also chair of the board of the Western Mass Economic Development Council and a board member for the LGBTQ Leaders in Higher Education.

Jeremy Thode started a nonprofit organization, Jonah’s Mission for Kids, which supports students, parents, and schools. He presents across the country on mental health and the prevention of bullying, self harm, school safety, hazing, and suicide. His initiative work has been featured on local and national news.

 

1995

Gregg Chodkowski released his first album in spring 2023 titled “Summer’s Right & Winter’s Wrong” under the band name “Big Kat and The Restitution.” All lyrics and songs were written and recorded by “The Big Kat” himself with band members Michael Caughlin, Mia Johnson, and Charlie Heim.

Kevin O’Neill ’00M is closing on 10 years as an IT services manager at Crown Castle in Canonsburg, Pennsylvania. He oversees the SharePoint Online Intranet, MS-Teams, PowerPlatform and DocuSign technologies as well as IT Training media. Crown Castle is the largest shared wireless service provider in the United States.

 

1996

Judy Annunziata celebrated 16 years in business as a female owner.

Mikael Carlson is proud to announce his sixteenth novel, “Banning Santa,” was published Nov. 17, 2023.

Virginia “Ginna” (Barnes) Siegrist ’98M and Greg Bibb ’96 are pictured with Ginna’s daughter, Maddy, as she was drafted to the WNBA Dallas Kings. Greg is the president, CEO & Partner of the Dallas Wings. Maddy was the nation’s leading collegiate scorer in 2023.

1997

Jack Flaherty is ecstatic to share the launch of his book, Better Decisions | Better Outcomes: 7 Principles of Successful Decision-Making.

 

1998

Michael Accuosti and his housemates of townhouse B3 (now known as the Foy townhouses) have been planning an annual weekend in a different location every year since graduation in 1998. This year, the guys gathered in Philadelphia. Edward “Ned” Kenyon married Eva Csillik on July 8, 2023, in Stony Brook, New York.
