Michael Coppola started grad school in spring 2021 at Teachers College, Columbia University. He is enrolled in the master's in music and music education program, which he’s thrilled about. He says the music minor at Marist really set him up for success. He was able to have amazing performance opportunities and educational experiences with stellar professors who supported him as much as they could. “They truly deserve the recognition and funding they need to expand and offer a full music major at Marist,” he notes. Michael expects to complete the program in approximately two years and perhaps even go back for an EdD when the time is right.
